Goodfellow's
Weddings & Banquets Policy 


GUARANTEES:  A Minimum Guaranteed Count  of  all  banquet meals is required thirty (30) days prior to the event. The Minimum Guaranteed Count is the number for which you are responsible for paying, and is not subject to reduction. Seven (7) days prior a Final Guaranteed Count will be required with any additions for the correct food preparation. Your final bill will reflect any additions above and beyond the Final Guaranteed Count. All payments must be paid in FULL up to one day prior to the event.

PAYMENT: Luncheon functions are available from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and require a non-refundable $150.00 rental fee plus linen fee of $7.00 per person. Evening functions are available from 4:00 to 10:00 pm and require a nonrefundable fee for the following room. Small banquet room (holds up to 40 people) $300.00 rental fee plus linen fees of $7.00 per person. Medium banquet room (holds up to 80 people ) $500.00 rental fee plus linen fees of $7.00 per person. The Large banquet room (holds up to 125 people) $800.00 rental fee plus linen fees of $7.00 per person. All rental fees include set up and break down fees.

REHEARSAL FUNCTIONS: Dining Room can only be rented out from 11:00am – 6:00pm depending on seasonal availability, with a two hour maximum time slot. Dining Room requires a nonrefundable $150.00 rental fee (holds up to 50 people). The Banquet Room can hold up to 125 people and requires a nonrefundable $275.00 rental fee plus linen fee of $7.00 per person. Can be available from 11:00am – 10:00pm with a three hour time slot.

A major credit card is required to be on file to continue holding space. Special orders for food or alcohol require prepayment and are nonrefundable. All pre-payments made are non-refundable. Ninety (90) days prior to the event a 50% non-refundable payment will be due either by personal check or credit card payment. Thirty (30) days prior to event the guarantee for all food and applicable service fees are to be paid in full. The remaining balance is to be paid in full one hour prior to the completion of the event.

Goodfellow's Italian Chophouse does NOT provide linens for the banquet room, with the exception of white skirting and long banquet table cloths. We are outsourcing our linens from BB and J Linen Company. You will be able to choose your color of Napkin, Table Cloth, and Chair Tie. You will be charged $7.00 per person for the following: Table Cloth, Napkin, Chair Cover and Tie.
    
ROOM RENTAL AND SET UP FEES: All set up and breakdown fees are included with rental fees. All decorations must be approved prior to setup. Goodfellow's will only provide a crystal square candle for the center of the table. All other decorations can be brought in.

MUSIC: All music and DJ’s must stop by 10:00 pm and no live bands will be allowed.

BANQUET MENUS: The following policies must be adhered to in order for us to uphold our standards of excellence for your event.

In the event of a plated meal, we recommend a maximum of three entrée choices. A guarantee for each entrée must be provided 10 working days prior to event. A minimum of 25 persons is requested for hors d’oeuvres selections and buffet dinners.

All food items must be supplied, prepared, and served by Goodfellow's. No food or beverages will be permitted to be brought into or be taken from the hotel by the customer or any of the customer’s guest’s due to state and local health regulations. The exception will be wine or champagne, which is subject to a $25.00 corkage fee per bottle. Goodfellow's as the licensee is responsible for the administration of the sale and service of all alcoholic beverages. All alcoholic beverages must be supplied and served by Goodfellow's in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan. Verification of legal age is required. Last call is thirty (30) minutes prior to the end of the event. No unattended bars will be permitted.

MEAL TIMES: Goodfellow's offers exquisite cuisine in a prompt and timely manner. In order to accomplish this we must have at least a two-day notice if your mealtime is to change. In addition, the scheduled times reflected on the banquet contract should be adhered to, or Goodfellow's cannot be responsible for food quality.
